City on the Hill Youth Foundation is a non-profit organization created to service at risk youth of ChicagoIL, ages 16-21. We are a community based organization located on the southside of Chicago that provides one on one vocational mentorship , assitance with the trade apprenticship programs, and most of all, a safe haven to combat the violence that goes on before and afterschool.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to bridge the gap between High School and informal education. Our focus is to educate and revitalize at risk youth of Chicago IL from the ages 16-21 . We plan to accomplish this through vocational mentoring. The foundation will foster relationships between mentors that work in the professional trade, and students that are interested in becoming a tradesman/tradeswoman.

Saturday, December 15, 2018 X-mas wish list to assist the less fortunate famalies from 12pm-6pm

Our mentor services provide initial education in the fundamentals of relationship building, effective communicating, making suggestive course of action and providing feedback when needed.

Our resource center is a multipurpose center. It's a 300 square foot facility that houses 150 computers that can used for a variety of media and informational needs. Employment opportunities are provided. We have an extensive library with thousands of books. Acts as a safe haven to the community where kids and young adults can come and explore. The site can also be rented out for events.

Mentor and mentee services are offered 2-3 times a week to discuss progress, upcoming goals and support. We have computers and books at the facilities that can be used to brush up on math and reading skills.
